This is a gift box that i made to share with you!! The good thang about this gift box is it holds A2 cards and envelopes, but it also makes a good box to put candy in, ornaments, gifts, ext.. Its so easy to make and FUN to make. Its so much prettier then using a plain Jane box! I have wrote the instructions on how to make this!! Its a little bit below this!
I made the Christmas tree with my Hello Kitty Greetings cricut cartridge!
I made my Merry Christmas Tag with the CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cartridge!
the paper came from DCWV called the Christmas stack with glitter!
MY BLING!!!
I got my bling from Want2Scrap was called Good Tidings (you can purchase it here )
In order to make this gift box u will need:
2 sheet of 12 x 12 card stock any color or pattern your choice
sticky tape (i used my ATG gun)
Bone Folder
Scoring Board
to make the bottom box you will need:
to cut your choice of card stock at 10 3/4" and 9 1/2"
Score each side at 2 1/2", using your bone folder and scoring board, make sure u crease all score lines
The next step is to cut the corners of your card stock by first cutting the vertical score line until it meets the horizontal score line. Then cut from the right bottom corner to left top corner on each side. Remove the triangle piece. This will make your corners go together easier.
Glue all ur ends to the inside of the box!
To make the Top:
Cut a piece of card stock your choice at 7 7/8" x 6 5/8"
Score all 4 sides at 1". Fold along all score lines and burnish with bone folder.
As with the bottom, you will cut the corners of your card stock by first cutting on the vertical score line until it meets the horizontal score line. Then cut from the right bottom corner to top corner on each side. Remove the triangle piece.
Decorate the top of your box as you wish!
Belly Band:
2 - 8" X 1 1/4" pieces of card stock. Overlap both ends 3/4" By the way this is a great box for your A2 cards and envelopes!!!
